Hi there! I’m Bridget, a photographer and full-spectrum doula, currently in training with Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings (BADT).
As I work on completing my certification through BADT, I am offering low-cost birth support to families throughout Tompkins County and the Finger Lakes. Whether you’re looking for a birth doula or seeking support for another part of your journey, I’d love to hear from you. I also offer documentary photography services for birth and beyond, and would be honored to work with you to capture and share the meaningful moments of your life as your story unfolds.
Why are you a doula?
I have always felt called to care work and am stepping into this space with the belief that everyone deserves inclusive, empowering, compassionate support throughout pregnancy, birth, postpartum, end-of-life, and other times of transition. I value evidence-based, individualized care, and approach this work with intentionality, creativity, and heart. I want to support you in feeling safe, seen, and heard throughout your journey.
Training/Education:
Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings Full-Spectrum Doula Training (Fall 2025 Cohort)
Currently working towards certification
Size-Friendly Birth Course (Completed May 2026)
Collaborative Doula Conference (2026 Attendee)
BFA in Photographic Arts & Sciences, Photojournalism from RIT (Dec. 2019)
Who I Serve:
As a doula, I am here to support you, your goals, and your choices. I am especially passionate about supporting folks who are plus size, neurodiverse, queer, trans, and/or navigating chronic pain or illness. I have completed the Size-Friendly Birth Professionals Course through Plus Size Birth, and continue to further my knowledge in these areas through reading, conversation, experience, and training.
I practice cultural humility and anti-racism in my work, which means I honor each client’s lived experience, support informed decision-making, hold myself accountable for ongoing education, and actively seek opportunities to learn from and support BIPGM (Black, Indigenous, and People of the Global Majority) women, birth workers, birthing people, and activists. I am grateful for the education I have received through BADT which centers care, choice, and justice, and am committed to continued learning and action for reproductive justice and Black perinatal health.
I offer support throughout your reproductive health journey, as well as other times of transition. Please reach out if you are seeking support at any point in your journey including pre-conception, fertility, pregnancy loss, infant loss, abortion, and end-of-life care. I want you to have the best doula for you, and whether that is me or someone else, I am happy to meet with you and help connect you with additional resources.
Accessibility of Services:
I believe that anyone who wants a doula should have access to one. If my rates are not accessible for you at this time, please feel free to reach out to discuss alternatives such as a custom package or bartering and trading for services. We also have some wonderful opportunities for folks to access free or low-cast doula care locally:
