Type of doula/focus of care:
I am a fully certified birth and postpartum doula offering full spectrum care throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I also specialize in overnight care and caring for families experiencing PMADs (Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders). I view my role as a doula to act as a stepping stone for parents as they enter a new phase of life by providing balance, rest, and renewal in the birth and postpartum stages. My primary focus is to create an environment that supports and prioritizes the mental and emotional wellbeing of parents and caregivers. Whether that be through support with birth plans, newborn sleep, lactation & bottle feeding, or to provide resources and education for questions and concerns that you may have. Your path in parenthood is unique, and I'm honored to walk it with you.
General structure of Doula services:
My pricing and service structure depend on whether you are seeking birth, postpartum, overnight, or full spectrum care. All of my packages and pricing can be found on my website: steppingstonedoula.com
I offer a free virtual consultation for all prospective clients so we can get to know each other before you commit to working with me.
My birth packages are entirely customizable and usually include 2-3 prenatal visits to build rapport and create a framework for labor and birth, 24/7 text support throughout pregnancy, and optional home and meal preparation before baby arrives. I go on call at 37 weeks and provide continuous in person support once my clients are in labor and desire my presence at their home or the hospital/birth center. My birth doula services include hands on support during labor (if desired); emotional processing and problem solving; education around pregnancy, labor, & delivery; and empowering and advocating for you and your choices during birth.
For my postpartum & overnight services, I work with clients to create a schedule that will best support their needs and the needs of their family. Sometimes this is daily support for many weeks, and other times it looks like a few days a week for a couple of months. Postpartum care may include breastfeeding support, infant care, meal preparation in your home, educational resources and referrals, and holding space for you to process the wide range of emotions and thoughts that come from the postpartum period. My overnight services are usually between 8-11 hours of care for your newborn and your home throughout the night so that you can get the rest you need.
If there are other types of support that you desire which aren’t listed here, please reach out and I can offer a customized package or refer you to another birthworker who can better meet your needs.
Why are you a Doula?
I became a doula after five years of working as a newborn nanny with multiple families and discovering my passion for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I spent two years studying social work with a focus on family and children during my time in undergrad, and this further highlighted the disparities that people face throughout childbirth and raising children, especially BIPOC individuals and people with disabilities. This motivated me to become a doula after I graduated college, and I became certified through Childbirth International in 2025. Serving families in all stages of parenthood has been an incredible honor, and I carry my role as a doula with great responsibility and care. Please reach out to me using the contact information above if you would like to discuss working together.
A Little More About Me:
When I'm not caring for parents and newborns, I try to live life slowly and intentionally. I am an avid reader, and spend a lot of my free time absorbed in a book with a warm cup of coffee beside me. I also love to cook, especially for others. Sharing a meal that I've made is one of my favorite ways to care for my family, friends, and clients. I've come to have a great appreciation for the outdoors as well, and I enjoy going on long walks through my neighborhood, or finding trails in the woods to reconnect with nature and to ground myself. Taking walks with my clients and their newborns is one of my favorite ways to promote gentle movement postpartum, and one of my favorite parts of this job.

Testimonials
"Chloe was an incredible support to me, both while giving birth and in the fog and confusion of the first few weeks of being a parent. Whether it was meeting to go over my birth plan beforehand, holding my hand (and leg) during delivery, or bringing us tasty and nutritious meals postpartum, she was a warm, capable presence through it all." — Nannina S.
“Having Chloe come into our home when my daughter was just 10 days old was one of the best decisions I could have made. From the moment she arrived, she had an incredible instinct for exactly what both the baby and I needed, often before I even knew myself. She made me feel so cared for and supported, creating a calm, nurturing environment that allowed me to truly enjoy those precious early days instead of feeling overwhelmed. Her positive, sunny energy lifted the whole household. Her communication was wonderful, her reliability unmatched, and her warmth and intuition truly special. Because of Chloe, I was able to rest, heal, and actually savor the newborn stage. She changed the way I experienced being a fresh mom again, and I'll always be so grateful for the care, comfort, and joy she brought into our family. Thank you Chloe.” — Caitlin I.
