Why are you a doula?

My passion for birth began during my own journey into motherhood. As I prepared for the birth of my third son, I discovered a deep love for pregnancy, birth, and supporting families through one of life's most transformative experiences. What started as a personal passion quickly grew into a calling. During my fourth pregnancy, I became a certified birth doula. Since then, it has been my joy to support families as they welcome their babies into the world. I believe every family deserves compassionate support, encouragement, and evidence-based information so they can make decisions with confidence and create a birth experience that is uniquely their own.

In addition to serving as a birth doula, I am also a postpartum doula and lactation specialist. Whether I'm supporting families through pregnancy, labor, the postpartum transition, or their breastfeeding journey, my heart is to provide personalized care that helps parents feel confident, informed, and never alone.

General structure of doula services:

My birth doula package is designed to provide continuous support throughout your pregnancy, birth, and early postpartum journey. It includes:

• Complimentary consultation

• Two prenatal visits to prepare for labor, birth preferences, comfort measures, and postpartum planning

• Unlimited text and email support throughout your pregnancy

• 24/7 on-call availability beginning at 38 weeks

• Continuous physical, emotional, and informational support throughout labor and birth, including advocacy and encouragement to help you make informed decisions

• One postpartum follow-up visit to check in on your recovery, your baby's transition, and answer any questions you may have

In addition to birth support, I offer postpartum doula services and lactation support. These services are billed hourly and are completely customizable to meet your family's unique needs. Whether you need help with newborn care, breastfeeding, emotional support, light household tasks, or simply an extra set of hands during those early weeks, I'm here to support you in the ways that matter most.

I believe every family should have access to quality doula care. Flexible payment arrangements are available, and I'm happy to work with you to create a plan that fits your budget whenever possible

Addition projects/non-doula services:

When I'm not supporting growing families, you'll most likely find me at home with my own. I'm a homeschooling mom of four boys, and together with my husband we operate our family farm, where we raise locally grown meat and produce for our community. Both motherhood and farming have taught me the value of hard work, patience, and caring for others. Whether I'm welcoming a new baby or nurturing our animals and crops, I find great joy in serving families and building meaningful connections within my community.
